A young tourist adrift in her parents' vacation, photographing a trip she isn't really on. She first sees Spooky from across Jackson Square and mistakes his performance for the whole of him. He reads her as an easy mark, which is his first mistake and not his last — Kendall isn't naive so much as untested, and she has been waiting a long time for something to test her.
